Hello! My name is Mindy and I am currently a junior in high school. I was born in china and I moved to the US when I was seven. As an asian first-generation immigrant, I’ve realized the racism and discrimination that my community faces. I started this blog to bring attention, in particular, to the challenges that asian immigrants face in finance; from struggles with cultural and language barriers to stereotypes, asian individuals are particularly underrepresented in the world of finance.
Through this project of mine, I seek to bring solutions. through educating individuals on the struggles that asians face in the US’ financial system, I hope to spread awareness to this issue and incentivize others to do something. my posts will focus on my take on these obstacles and what we can attempt to alleviate and solve them.
